CS45 45mm Optical Shutter

The Uniblitz CS45 has been designed to provide accurate, repeatable exposures for a wide variety of applications such as telescopy and aerospace. The slim form-factor provides a large 45mm aperture that can be inserted into a 4.00 inch diameter housing. The CS45 is available in a housed or an un-housed configuration for OEM applications (or simply where spatial limitations are a consideration).

Uni-stable shutter devices, like the CS45, require power to hold the blades in the open state.

A 501A-S7 Shutter Adapter Cable is required for use with VMM-D3, VMM-D4, D880C and any VCM-D1 purchased prior to November 2022. The 501A-S7 is not included with the purchase of a CS Series Shutter. Additionally, the 5-pin female mating connector (5F) is no longer included with purchase.

A normally open configuration of this device is available by special order. Please contact us for more information.

*The “For use in Vacuum” option will equip the shutter with encapsulated coils for vacuum levels up to 10^-6 Torr. The housing, connector, and electronic sync options cannot be selected from the product builder when “For use in Vacuum” is applied as these options are not vacuum compatible and may cause outgassing. For higher vacuum-rated applications, or questions, please contact us.
