Optical Shutters

Vincent Associates prides itself on the quality optical shutters manufactured available for use in numerous applications including but not limited to Video Imaging, Telescopy, Microscopy, Holography, and X-Ray Switching.

UNIBLITZ shutters are used in optical applications and are therefore considered optical shutters. However, optical shutters are sometimes considered those devices like LCD (Liquid Crystal Devices), which interpose an optically opaque material (which changes state electrically) in a light path as opposed to a mechanical blade being moved into the light path, a technology as utilized by UNIBLITZ shutters.
