We will be attending the SPIE Optics + Photonics Conference in San Diego, California at the San Diego Convention Center, 3-5 August 2010.
At this conference, we will be showcasing our newest shutter product, the UNIBLITZ® N-CAS® TS Series. The TS Series is the latest technology available from UNIBLITZ. The TS6B shutter is a patent pending device and like the DSS series, has eliminated the external protruding actuator and contains no other interfering components.

Vincent Associates® Showcases New UNIBLITZ® Shutter Products at the SPIE Optics + Photonics Conference in San Diego, California
Rochester, NY - July 22, 2010 - Vincent Associates® is proud to announce two new products that will be showcased at the SPIE Optics + Photonics Conference at the San Diego Convention Center, 3-5 August 2010. The TS6B, a new single bladed bi-stable shutter (6mm aperture) using Vincent Associate's® latest technology, Direct Drive™. Direct Drive eliminates all linkages between the actuator and the shutter blade. The new TS6B is compact and low profile, only .190" thick, a perfect replacement for flag style shutters. The shutter blade material can be selected for your application (i.e. x-ray, laser switching, etc.). The TS6B also features ultra-low power requirements and is designed to be driven by the ED12DSS driver.
The second product is the NS35B, a 35mm aperture version of the patented N-CAS® (Non-Contact Actuation System) shutter. This new device adds another standard aperture to the existing 15mm, 25mm and 45mm apertures presently in the NS series. The NS35B has all of the features found in the other NS shutters, only two moving parts, high reliability, and small form factor. The NS35B is available in a uni-stable configuration for further flexibility. The NS35B can be driven with the VDM1000.
The NS35B and the TS6B devices will be available through our on-line ordering system, and the TS6B will also be available in an evaluation kit which will include the TS6B, an ED12DSS driver, interconnect cables, and documentation.
