At this conference , we will be showcasing our sub-miniature flag shutter alternative products, the UNIBLITZ® N-CAS® TS Series. The TS Series is the latest technology available from UNIBLITZ. The TS2S shutter is a patent pending device and like the DSS series,which has eliminated the external protruding actuator and contains no other interfering components. We will also be featuring our newest addition to the NS series, the NS65B.

Vincent Associates® Receives Foreign Patents for N-CAS® NS Electronic Shutters
Rochester, NY - June 21, 2010 - Vincent Associates® (www.uniblitz.com) has recently received foreign patents in Germany and the UK for its groundbreaking UNIBLITZ® N-CAS® NS series of shutter devices. The U.S. patent was awarded in 2009, and the foreign patents cover the NS15 (15mm), NS25 (25mm), and the NS45 (45mm) series of shutters along with the newest addition to the NS Series, the NS35 (35mm).
The UNIBLITZ®II N-CAS® NS series is a breakthrough in shutter design from Vincent Associates®. The devices' reliability has been enhanced by drastically reducing the number of moving parts to one (apart from the shutter blades themselves). The activating mechanism is non-contact, and has demonstrated dramatically increased reliability over previously available shutter designs.
The N-CAS® device has no linkages and no external damping system. Damping is integrated into the device to provide long lasting, quiet operation, and the shutter itself is remarkably thin. The only protruding component is the unit's actuator coil, and the external mounting surfaces of the shutter are flat which makes the shutter easy to integrate into multiple user applications. These shutters are bi-stable, meaning that they only require power to change their state from open to closed (or vice versa). If necessary, these devices can also be configured as uni-stable, which when powered will remain active, and the shutter will return to the default state once power is removed. The uni-stable design is a standard option with the NS25, and, can be special ordered on the NS15, NS45, and NS35.
