IR Shutters

Vincent Associates prides itself on quality infrared shutters available for use in numerous applications including but not limited to video imaging, telescopy, microscopy, holography, and x-ray switching. IR shutters can also be commonly found used in today's advanced digital cameras.

UNIBLITZ® IR shutters are and can be used in IR applications to block stray light, to provide a uniform surface to perform a dark calibration, to control an exposure or to control overexposure in a high light situation.

These Infrared applications often require high instances reliability - many shutter cycles, consistency, a uniform blade surface, low heat, bi-stable compatibility, etc. All of these features are available with a UNIBLITZ® infrared shutter.

Vincent Associates has a number of apertures and IR shutter types available to meet most applications. Shown below is a quick comparison of the available IR shutter types and some of their features.

If you cannot locate a device that will work within your application please check out our custom capabilities or contact us today for further assistance.
