Shutter Systems

Vincent Associates manufactures a number of shutters systems, including shutter mounting, shutter cables, and shutter control drivers, these devices used together some or in part are referred to as a shutter system. Shutter systems find use in microscope systems, telescope systems, camera systems, laser systems (to turn a laser on and off), protection of photo multiplier tubes, in an optical system within a vacuum, controlling the calibration in an IR camera, providing precise exposures in a digital camera system, and more.

Usually a shutter system is used within these types of applications because the light source being controlled becomes unstable when turned on and off or light entering a system needs to be precisely controlled, as when capturing an image.
