We will be attending SPIE Security, Defense, & Sensing Conference at the Orlando World Center Marriott Resort & Convention Center, 6-8 April 2010.
At this conference, we will be showcasing our new patent pending shutter product, the UNIBLITZ® N-CAS® DSS Series shutters and the new ED12DSS shutter driver which operates at +12VDC. The DSS Series is the newest innovation from Vincent Associates, with enhanced reliability due to the significant reduction in moving parts. The DSS Series contains only two distinct moving parts, the drive ring and the blades.

We will be attending SPIE Security, Defense, & Sensing Conference at the Orlando World Center Marriott Resort & Convention Center, 6-8 April 2010.
At this conference, we will be showcasing our new patent pending shutter product, the UNIBLITZ® N-CAS® DSS Series shutters and the new ED12DSS shutter driver which operates at +12VDC. The DSS Series is the newest innovation from Vincent Associates, with enhanced reliability due to the significant reduction in moving parts. The DSS Series contains only two distinct moving parts, the drive ring and the blades.
The DSS device's activating mechanism, like the NS series, is non-contact and has shown to increase its reliability, through testing, over similar type shutter designs. The device has no protruding coil and is flat on both sides facilitating easy installation into a customer application. Cost in quantity should be competitive with flag shutters and can be installed on axis allowing products requiring shutters to be built smaller. The apertures presently available are the DSS10 (10mm aperture), the DSS20 (20mm aperture) and the DSS25 (25mm aperture). If theses aperture sizes are not what you require, please contact us for the aperture you require. The UNIBLITZ® DSS Series design allows for scalability to other apertures at only a fraction of the cost of other shutter designs. The DSS devices are guaranteed for 2,000,000 cycles!
We will also have on display a new addition to the NS series, the NS35. This is a new 35mm bi-stable device to further expand the NS line. This device can be operated with the new ED12DSS shutter driver as well as the VDM100 shutter driver. The VDM1000 has recently acquired UL/CSA/CE certification.
