We will be attending the SPIE Optics + Photonics Conference in San Diego, California at the San Diego Convention Center, 3-5 August 2010.
At this conference, we will be showcasing our newest shutter product, the UNIBLITZ® N-CAS® TS Series. The TS Series is the latest technology available from UNIBLITZ. The TS6B shutter is a patent pending device and like the DSS series, has eliminated the external protruding actuator and contains no other interfering components.

The year was 1969. Neil Armstrong walked on the moon, and Vincent Associates shipped the first UNIBLITZ ® Electronic Shutter. The years since have seen many exciting developments, not only in the UNIBLITZ Shutter Product line, but in the Photonics Industry as a whole. As the industry has grown, UNIBLITZ Shutters have been able, time and time again to offer viable shutter solutions to customers World Wide. What started as a one inch aperture, two bladed shutter, has grown into multiple series of electro-mechanical shutters in three distinct product lines with apertures ranging from 1mm - 90mm.
UNIBLITZ Electronic Shutters have successfully provided shuttering solutions in numerous application areas, including Microscopy, Medical Imaging, CCD, Video, low level Laser switching, and other applications where total light extinction is demanded, be it ultraviolet, visible, or infrared spectral environments.
UNIBLITZ Electronic Shutter Product offerings are now available in three distinct product lines. We continue to offer the traditional UNIBLITZ with the two bladed design, with detailed information located in the LS and VS Series sections of Shutter information in this site. Information on our rotary ring activated shutter series can be located under the CS Series section. The CS Series will be of special interest to applications where special constraints require a smaller format, while maintaining the long operational lifetimes UNIBLITZ Shutters are known for. Recently, we have added the NS Series and the DSS Series of products. The NS series is proving to be popular in OEM applications where we have blended long operational lifetimes, with a reduction in overall parts count, and a reduction in overall size. More information on the DSS series will be forthcoming and this line of products will prove to be best suited for OEM applications (that may normally chose a flag type shutter) due to its low cost, small size and something new for the UNIBLITZ Electronic Shutter - scalability.
